Lots of Fun today!

Definitely lots of fun for the kids! They had party at school. After school, we met up Shirley and her really very lovable kids, Marcus and Alicia at Orchid Country Club. Brought them for bowling. The 4 kids opps shd be 5 (my little Reyes), all had so much fun!!!

Just finished watching Supernanny! After watching, I really feel my children are angels!!!!!!!

Parents' Mtg

12.30pm this afternoon, I went to kids' school for parents' mtg. Ended an hr later. So what did the teachers said abt my 2Rs?? For Rick, his teacher said he's a very intelligent boy with initiative. He has potential and far ahead from most of his classmates. She mentioned that Rick is like a leader in class. Whatever he does, the rest will follow. Chat abt 40mins with this teacher LOL... When we were abt to end the session, she thanked me twice! I was like huh? Said "thank you" to me for wat?? I shd be the one! She said I've been teaching and taking care of Rick very well that he is such a bright boy and I've definitely make her teachings to Rick like a breeze. Aiyo, she really makes me feel so touched and feel like crying...

For Raeann, her teacher mentioned that she's a very quiet girl in class. But when comes to reading, she read the loudest and also sing the loudest. LOL... Her teacher also mentioned that Raeann is far ahead of most of her classmates.

Later afternoon today, meet Kim and her 2 lovely daughters. REally have fun the later part, cos at first all kids didn't play and talk to each other but when they started playing...OH gosh...u can imagine!

Frens' RoM

Happy for the both of them! AFternoon, frens came and picked me and hb to their ROM. Smiles after smiles from the couple. Really feel elated that they hv tied the knots. Had tea session and dinner at Mirama Hotel. The food was quite nice. Most importantly really hv a very nice chit chat session with the rest of the frens.

Busy week

This week gonna be a busy week for me....
Tomorrow attending fren's ROM, going to be a whole day occasion. (sigh...alamak how to pump milk???)
Wed Parents meeting in school and afternoon meeting Kim and her kids. Long time hv not meet up, definitely hv lots to catch up.
Thur need to wind down, going for a nice massage! Fri, kids school in the morning, there's a party...

ok, lately my new found hobby - scrapbooking. Doing for baby Reyes. This little boy is near 7kg now. A very very cute and chubby boy boy.

Talented Rick!!!

Rick is my forever pride. Since young he's a boy full of love. Forever saying he loves who and who and everyone. I remembered as young as 2yrs old, that time such a young "baby", he could sense that I dislike mil. I was shocked that at 2yrs old, he cried and told me "mummy love ah ma ok?"

He loves music. Whenever he hears music or any songs, he'll sure to dance and rock. Maybe he has the strong genes of my mother. My mother is a dancing babe! Haha...

Very proud of him, his concert song which he needs to perform in July, within few weeks of practising, he has played very well now.

Bought him a gift yesterday. We (me and him only) went shopping and he picks the fav toy he wants. Reason why I got him the present is becos for term 2, his spelling for english and chinese, he got full marks. His teacher got him a present too. He's sooo happy.

Rick, u are a big brother now. Mummy loves u forever!

My Big Rs have "WINGS"!!!

Get what I mean?? They can fly already, dun hv to listen to mummy anymore. Lately, I can feel my lungs, my intestines, my heart, my kidneys, my bladder my everything gonna BURST OUT fm my head!!! Sometimes dread of opening my eyes in the morning. They can be sweet but most of the times they are monsters!!!! Now, my 5yr old boy know how to argue back, giving me all sort of nonsenses. Even for my 4yr old little nagger. I got to repeat myself one time, two time, three times till i YELL. Got to show my "magic stick". Is this call growing up??

I always hope they can grow up fast, but now thinking of that makes me shiver! Can't imagine when they are in primary and secondary, what sort of nonsenses I'm going to face.

Or am I old already?? Come on I'm only 27 but how come I feel there's a wide generation gap from those younsters??? Don't understand their language anymore. Last nite, was chatting with my 30yr old bil.
He asked me "What's H.M?"
"HUH??"
"The other day I heard a young ger saying to the boy this "U very H.M!!!"
"ohhhh, hmmmm, I ....dunno...lei..."

In my mind, I can remember very clearly those days when I was in my teens, seem so near yet so far. Taking care of children is not an easy task these days. It's really a skill. A highest professional job ever found!

Gifts fm my children....Am so touched, Rick did a card for me, Nope teachers didn't ask him to make that card, he knows it's mother's day and he made that card for me and wrote those words and pixs.

The 2 flowers were made in the school by Raeann and Rick.

My dearest person in my life - MY MOTHER!

The most impt person in my life is definitely my mother. I could remember some things in my life as young as age 4. Those few days where my mother went hospital to give birth to my dear brother - Kit when I was 4yrs old. Days where mother busy making curry puffs for her own curry puffs shop when I was ard 8. Days where mother busy shifting house mostly on her own (yes lousy me, bro and father, didn't help much...mother is a super mother!)....and days where she was secretly weeping and feeling sad...Me, I made her sad. When I was 20yrs old, I met my ex-bf. Didn't wanna share what my life was then with him, but it was when the whole world asking, telling, nagging, scolding me to leave him, where I chose to be with him. One fine day, when was on phone with mother, she broke down and cried. My heart was pain then. It was at that very moment, I know how much she loves me! She respected my decision at that time but I know she was sad all times.

Thank God, rainbow is out! I'm happily married to my beloved hubby, Billy. That was when I thot mother shd at least won't be worrying for me anymore since I'm a big ger. But I was wrong. Few yrs back, she said this...as a mother, forever she'll worry for me, praying that I'll be happy forever and some nights she'd wake up in the wee hours thinking of us. I'm a mother now, I know how she feels.

She's a mother whose definitely don't nag and nag, giving her children (me and kit) freedom (she always believe we are old enuf to think, letting us choose), full of patience, loving, forever there when we need her. Can u imagine people telling me that my mother is the best mother in the world??

Am really glad to be home with mother at this Mother's Day again. We celebrated with aunties, uncles, cousins, granny at the restaurant. I bought a diamond earrings for mother and she loves it!

I wanna yell aloud "MOTHER, I LOVE U, FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER...."

The Story of Mother's Day

The earliest Mother's Day celebrations can be traced back to the spring celebrations of ancient Greece in honor of Rhea, the Mother of the Gods. Stress???

Lately has been going for body massage very often. Today went to my beauty center and they did a machine on me and was tested that my stress level is extremely high. Hmmm me under stress?? I dunno ...but lately I can't sleep. Can't sleep well. My sleeping routine now is like sleeping at 8plus pm with kids, but at 9plus will wake up then up to 12midnite but then 3am would most prob wake up then up till 6am then managed to get into sleep again. But then 7plus SURE to be up. Some calculation done, per day I only sleep abt 4, 5 hrs. Somehow I know my brain can't seem to relax. My mind keeps on thinking abt this thinking abt that. More on kids, I guess. So this is mother's life?????

This weekends, I'm gonna drive in to malaysia myself with 3 kids and maid. Love going back to have gathering. Will be celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday too!

God is Good, All the Time!

When I was down and felt God didn't hear my cries, He answers "Never will I leave u, Never will I forsake u" And yes never ever...

These 2 days, Rick has been eating fast and finish his milk and meals. God has let me know that if I cry out to him pouring out my problems, He anwsers! I hv seen His miricles on me the past yrs. No doubts at all that Jesus is alive!!!!

"Be YOUR son....really POOR THING!"

This is the comment hb gave just now. And he's not wrong! Lately I'm a nasty, fussy, horrible, detestable, irritating, disgusting mother!!! NO JOKE, it's true and I hate myself for nagging, scolding, black face like a stupid ass!

Lately Rick seems to get scoldings from me daily. I'm someone who want things to be done properly. If not, it really get on my nerves! I dislike it when hb or anyone allows Rick to watch TV with them, certain actions from Rick, I dislike to see and things that really get my hairs all standing like a siow cha bo are when he eats extremely slowly (an hour or more), do his work slowly (talking to anyone ard him). Canes, scoldings, nagging...I'm really a super nagger! Even when my kids wanna eat anything, I expect them to come and ask me first, no matter what kind of food. I want proper manners, else I'd be unhappy.

Guess today hb really can't stand me....he looks at me with a disgusted look "Why each time I see u, u are scolding and nagging????

Had been a yr, NO, more than a yr, I just want Rick to eat faster and finsh his meals. Why is it so hard? Cried out to the Lord...Did HE hear my cries???????

Ok, I got all ingredients for chocolate cheese cake already. Tomolo morning shall do my second cake! Feeling so excited. So after chocolate cheese cake, I shall try chiffon cake, then oreo cheese cake, then walnut cake, then banana cake...okok slow down...

My First Cake!!!

1st May's my mil's birthday. Last minute, I decided to bake a cake for her since her fav is butter cake and also I only hv the ingredients for butter cake that morning. Kids were very excited and so do I. It was my first attempt making a cake. Nope?? Opps remembered my first attempt was a failure?? oh no no, this is the first time baking, the other time was steaming...Anyway doesn't matter lah. Here it goes....




So how the taste? Rick loves it, ate quite a lot. Mil likes it, the maids love it too! For me, erm...taste very nice but kinda dry. Wonder how to make it not so dry??
